Refund, Cancellation & Weather Policy
Charlotte Helicopter Tours
At Charlotte Helicopter Tours, your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. Because helicopter tours are dependent on weather conditions and safe operating requirements, flights may occasionally need to be rescheduled or canceled. Please review our policy before completing your reservation.
1. Weather-Related Cancellations
All flights are subject to weather conditions and the pilot's final determination that the flight can be conducted safely.
- Rescheduling First: If your flight is canceled or postponed due to weather or safety concerns, we will prioritize rescheduling your flight for another available date and time at no additional charge.
- Flexible Scheduling: Our team will work with you to find a mutually agreeable alternative date and time, subject to availability.
- Refund Option: If we are unable to find a suitable rescheduling option, you may elect to receive a full refund for the canceled flight.
- Safety First: The pilot retains final authority over whether a flight can safely operate. We will never compromise safety to complete a scheduled tour.
2. Customer Cancellations
We understand that plans can change. Customer cancellations are subject to the following terms:
- Cancellations 24 Hours or More Before Departure: Customers who cancel at least 24 hours before their scheduled departure time are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours Before Departure: Customers who cancel less than 24 hours before their scheduled departure time are eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid. The remaining 50% will be retained by Charlotte Helicopter Tours to cover reservation and operational costs.
- Rescheduling Requests: Customers who need to change their reservation are encouraged to contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
3. Late Arrivals and No-Shows
Customers are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting location on time and following all pre-flight instructions. Late arrivals or failure to appear for a scheduled flight may be treated as a cancellation made less than 24 hours before departure and will be eligible for a 50% refund.
4. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be returned to the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
5. Policy Acknowledgment
By completing a reservation with Charlotte Helicopter Tours, customers acknowledge that they have read and agree to this Refund, Cancellation & Weather Policy.
