Terms & Conditions

1. Nature of Service

All services are commercial air tours conducted under FAA regulations. Flights are for sightseeing purposes only and not transportation services.

2. FAA Compliance

All operations follow Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, including safety, pilot certification, and aircraft operation standards.

3. Pilot Authority

• Flight approval or cancellation
• Passenger eligibility
• Route and duration
• Weather decisions

All pilot decisions are final.

4. Passenger Requirements

• Minimum passengers: 2
• Maximum passengers: 3
• Maximum weight per passenger: 295 lbs
• Maximum combined weight: 590 lbs

5. Booking & Payment

• Full payment required before flight
• ID must match booking
• Fraud checks may apply

6. Weather & Flight Changes

• Flights depend on weather conditions
• Routes may change
• No guarantee of landmarks

7. Cancellations & Refunds

• Weather-Related Cancellations: If your flight is canceled or postponed due to weather or safety concerns, we will prioritize rescheduling your flight for another available date and time at no additional charge. If we are unable to find a suitable rescheduling option, you may elect to receive a full refund for the canceled flight.
• Cancellations 24 Hours or More Before Departure: Customers who cancel at least 24 hours before their scheduled departure time are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours Before Departure: Customers who cancel less than 24 hours before their scheduled departure time are eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid. The remaining 50% will be retained by Charlotte Helicopter Tours to cover reservation and operational costs.
• Rescheduling Requests: Customers who need to change their reservation are encouraged to contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
• Late Arrivals and No-Shows: Customers are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting location on time and following all pre-flight instructions. Late arrivals or failure to appear for a scheduled flight may be treated as a cancellation made less than 24 hours before departure and will be eligible for a 50% refund.
• Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be returned to the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

8. Passenger Conduct

• No intoxicated passengers
• No unsafe behavior
• Must follow instructions

9. Assumption of Risk

Helicopter flight involves risks including injury or death. Passengers voluntarily accept all risks.

10. Limitation of Liability

Charlotte Helicopter Tours, Inc. is not liable for indirect damages, delays, or operational changes.

11. Mandatory Waiver

All passengers may be required to sign a liability waiver before flight.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by North Carolina law and U.S. federal aviation law.
